10.000 Thousand Promises

Bom... em um dos meus diversos devaneios, lembrei de situações, de pessoas e acabei chegando as lembranças de convites e promessas que me foram feitas. E me veio uma baita interrogação: Por que as pessoas prometem se não vão se lembrar daqui uma hora? Por que prometem se não tem intenção de cumprir??? Seria bem melhor deixar as coisas no ar, comentar mas não assegurar, não assumir compromissos. Será que elas pensam que todos são desmemoriados? Ou será que eu cobro demais de mim e de todos??? Porque dificilmente esqueço algo que me dizem, se for um convite ou uma promessa então, é melhor não fazer porque eu posso até não cobrar, mas em um momento oportuno usarei contra quem disse! Não vejam isso como uma ameaça, de forma alguma; só quero, mesmo, mostrar minha indignação com a falta de compromisso que impera esse mundinho meio RRRRedículo em que vivemos. Abaixo, uma música que me acompanha há muitos anos e tem uma letra bastante significativa, o final então...

Só mais uma coisa: coloquei o link da tradução, mas já digo logo que não é boa, aliás dificilmente elas passam o texto original como de fato ele é.
